Lucille Pechacek 10/03/2019

Lucille M. Pechacek, age 91 of River Falls, WI, died on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at the Comforts of Home Community in River Falls.  She was born the daughter of Floyd and Florence Morrow on May 13, 1928 in Pierce County, WI.  In 1946, Lucille was united in marriage to Ludvick Pechacek.  She was an active member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Ellsworth, WI. While being a dedicated mother of ten children, she also enjoyed a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Kinnic Nursing Home in River Falls for 23 years.  Lucille was also an avid gardener and was very proud of her flower gardens.  Lucille is survived by her children, Marilyn (Roman) Dusek, Eugene Pechacek, Cathy (Joe) Piccinni, Ellen (David) Eder, Calvin (Julie) Pechacek, Arlene (Terry) Miller, Dale (Louann) Pechacek, Ron (Kelly) Pechacek, Joann (Daniel) Herum; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Ludvick Pechacek; son, Jim Pechacek; grandson, Eric Pechacek; and siblings, Myron (Betty) Morrow and Mary Elizabeth Morrow.  A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 12 noon at St. Francis Catholic Church 231 W Woodworth Street Ellsworth, WI with the Reverend Fr. Eric Awortwe-Dadson officiating.  Visitation was also on Wednesday from 11 am – 12 noon at the church.  Interment was in the Cherma Cemetery.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
