Lorraine Naser 05/16/2019

Lorraine Lucille Naser, age 95, of New Richmond died Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the St. Croix Health Center. Lorraine was born to William and Ethel Wood on January 24, 1924 in Woden, Iowa. After graduating high school, Lorraine married Wayne Naser. The couple farmed in Lake Mills, IA until 1957. Wayne and Lorraine, along with their 3 sons and 1 daughter moved to New Richmond, WI to farm. Lorraine was a waitress for many years. Once retired, Lorraine loved to sew quilts and bake. A grandchild could never leave without taking some goodies with them. Lorraine’s greatest joy was her family. She made each grandchild feel that they were her favorite. Her love for all of them was unconditional and never ending. Lorraine loved when her sisters would come and they would have so much fun having “La-La” time. She is survived by her children, David (Ardell) Naser, Terry (Sheryl) Naser, Janet (Gene) Wienke, and Nancy (Jim) Refsnider; grandchildren, Mari (Andy) Munson, Lance (Angela) Naser, Laurie (John Czech) Simon, Jenni (Zach) Miller, Jeramie (Lisa) Naser, Trisha (Steve) Kielen, Matt Naser, Nicole (Andy) Leonard, Michelle (Ryan Beck) Wienke, Jamon (Sadie Krabbenoft) Wienke; 26 great-grandchildren; siblings, Lois Hanna, Lola Wittmeier, LaDonna Gigler, Linda DeWaard, Larry Wood; and very special friend, Rose Derrick. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; son, Gary and 6 siblings.  A funeral service was held Monday, May 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave) in New Richmond.  Visitation was also Monday from 9-11 am.  Interment was in New Richmond Cemetery.   Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
