Lisa Bakke, age 57 of Spooner, WI and formerly of River Falls, WI, passed away suddenly of a ruptured brain aneurysm on Monday, September 1, 2020 surrounded by her entire family. Lisa was born on March 19, 1963, the first daughter of Larry and Rita Bakke. She graduated from RFHS in 1981. She then moved to Breckinridge, CO and continued west, living in Huntington Beach, CA where she had her son, Evan Bakke. Soon after, she moved back to River Falls where she raised her son. In 2011, she moved to Spooner, WI where she settled in and became part of a wonderful community where she made many lasting friendships and made a home with her significant other, Steve Tanski. Lisa was full of life and touched every person she met. Going to the grocery store, was an adventure with Lisa. She will forever be remembered for her unique laugh and beautiful smile. Lisa will remain in the hearts of her son, Evan Bakke, his wife Britta and their daughter Laylana; her partner, Steve Tanski; parents, Larry and Rita Bakke; her three sisters, Lora, Kris and Brenda; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and her many friends. A Celebration of Lisa’s Life will be held at McKenzie Landing 1350 County Hwy E Spooner, WI on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 2-5pm. Cremation services provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
