Linda Marie Ross (Gregorius) passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on July 19th, 2024. Born in Appleton, WI on February 6th, 1952, Linda lived a life full of love! She settled and raised her family in River Falls, WI. She loved her community – where she volunteered for the Power of 100 group, maintained a corner garden in town for all to enjoy, and was involved at Relay for Life. Linda loved her friends – she was a part of book club, Bunco group, active at Curves, a part of bowling league, and her beloved traveling cowbell band. Linda loved to teach and learn, she spent nearly 40 years as a special education teacher showing kindness, patience, and giving inspiration to all of her students. She loved travel and adventure, taking trips to Madeline Island and Hawaii in the last year. Linda loved the Green Bay Packers, often taking annual trips to Lambeau Field to see a game in person. Mostly though, Linda loved her family.
Linda grew up and is survived by her three sisters, Sharon (Stan), Diane (Tom) and Terry (Wayne) and was greeted at heaven’s gate by her loving parents Joseph (Grace) and Dolores Gregorius. Linda is now reunited with her caring husband, Tom, that she spent over 40 years happily married to. She loved being a mother and grandmother to her two sons, Jon (Ashley) and Trevor (Charlotte) and two grandchildren Callahan and Ruby. Linda’s love, laughter, and kindness will be missed by all who knew her.

Linda lived life to the fullest! She will always be remembered smiling and having fun. Dance in the clouds my friend. We will miss you and seeing your smiling face at Curves, around town working on your garden, in my Zumba class on Zoom or in person. Now see what you can do about the Packers this year 🙂
I taught with Linda for many years. Love to her family and friends. RIP, Linda.
Jon & Trevor,
Your mom was the best neighbor to my parents! She always watched out for them, especially for my mom after my dad passed away and she lived alone. She was one of a kind; a true blessing for those lucky enough to have her in their lives.
Rest well sweet lady—your fun spirit and kind heart along with your positivity gives me great inspiration to live life fully! Blessings to all your loved ones for comfort during this time and always! May the memories in your loved ones minds and the love in their hearts sustain them until you meet again!!
Dear Jon & Ashley, Trevor & Charlotte and families,
We were so very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. What an amazing woman that leaves a wonderful legacy! Her personality match the smile she always wore. What a sweetheart. I can’t begin to imagine how great a loss her passing is for you all. She sure knew how to light up a room and keep up such a positive attitude.
Our deepest sympathies and prayers, Sue & Steve Watters
