Lilas Wernlund 02/08/2014

Lilas Wernlund age 93 of Baldwin died Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Baldwin Area Medical Center.  She was born the daughter of Isaac and Hattie (Rens) Vande Vrede on July 12, 1920 in Baldwin.  Lilas is preceded in death by her husband, James; and siblings, Berdean Vande Vrede and Wilma Wienke.  She is survived by her children, Steve Wernlund, Nancy Current and Brent (Patrice) Wernlund; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Memorial services were held Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 11:00 am at Bakken-Young Funeral Home in Baldwin.  Visitation was also held Thursday from 10:00-11:00 am at the funeral home.  Interment was in the Baldwin Cemetery.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of Baldwin.
