Kriese Shaver 05/01/2020

Kriese A. Shaver, age 62 of Roberts, WI died Friday, May 1, 2020 at her home after a courageous eight-year battle with breast cancer. She was born the daughter of Wesley and Mary Ellen Frederick on October 17, 1957 in Baldwin, WI. Kriese grew up in Roberts, WI graduating from Saint Croix Central High School, class of 1975. Following high school, she worked for West Publishing in Saint Paul, MN. Kriese married Mike Shaver on November 5, 1977 in Roberts. After they had children, Mike and Kriese bought Hudson Machine and Tool where Kriese worked as the accountant and president. She loved feeding the birds, gardening, sewing, and her grandchildren. Kriese was passionate about baseball especially the Milwaukee Brewers. She always had a craft project going. Kriese loved playing piano and played for churches for 40 years. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren at the family cabin. Kriese was loving, caring, and tough as nails.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents; parents-in-law, William and Connie Shaver; aunt, Ruth Shaver; friend, Dottie Forsythe. Kriese is survived by her husband, Mike; three sons, Scott (Abby), Steve (Amy), Mark (Tzu-Han “Elaine”); grandchildren, Logan and Landon “Deans”, Shawn and Owen, and Ann (due in September); parents, Wesley and Mary Ellen Frederick; three brothers, Mike (Sherryl) Frederick, Tom (Misty) Frederick, Jerry (Arissa) Frederick; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Celebration of Life will be held at her home at a later date. Cremation services are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
