Kenneth Ward Olson
August 25, 1941 – June 6, 2023.
He is survived by children, Tamera Long, Ron (Amy) Olson, Eric (Stacy) Olson; grandchildren, Liz (Brad) Jordan, Jocelyn (Nicholas) Wesche, Riley (Jared) Carlson, Christian Olson, Alex Olson; great- grandchildren, Derek and Everett Jordan, Kira Carlson, Sebastian and Cyprian Wesche; sisters, Cate, Barbara, Rosalie, Linda, and Joy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Sr. and Ruth Olson; sister, Phyllis Erickson; brothers, Harvey Jr., Roger, Philip; and wife, Mary (nee Gordon).
Ken began working at Bernard’s (Northtown) as auto body repairman, he later took up house painting, remodeling, and carpentry. He was the most skilled craftsman in all these areas. In recent years, he drove his truck, hauling campers all over North America. He and Mary often traveled together making the deliveries. He finished his work career building Free Little Libraries with partner, Rick. He enjoyed spending time with friends, family, and great-grandkids. He loved hunting, fishing, playing cribbage, watching Westerns, and baking sweet treats for friends. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Memorial service was held on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 4:30PM at Prairieview Covenant Church, 1396 210th Ave, New Richmond, WI with visitation starting at 2:00PM. Dinner and fellowship following. Cremation services provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

    My heart goes out to Ken’s family and friends, he was a Dear soul and so very kind. I will miss his hugs and smiles but knowing he is at peace with our Lord.
