Ken Miller, Sr., of Dresser, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
Kenneth Raymond Miller, Sr., was born on May 27, 1943, the son of Al and Celia Miller of Woodville, Wisconsin. Ken was preceded in death by his father, Al; his mother, Celia; his brother, Alan; his sister, Arlene; his son, Timothy; and his daughter, Michelle.
Ken is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Geri Miller; his brother, Ron (Audrey) of River Falls, WI; his son, Ken Jr (Linda) of Lino Lakes, MN; his son, Terry (Jodi) of St. Croix Falls, WI; his daughter, Tammy (Kirk) of Debary, FL; his daughter, Angie (Rick) of Hugo, MN; his son, Scott (Casey) of Ellsworth, WI; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ken’s abundant life included camping with Geri and family at various campgrounds, snowmobiling, fishing, deer hunting, bowling, and golfing. He built a number of his own custom homes and helped his kids with their projects. He enjoyed spending time with family, neighbors, and good friends, whether it was playing cards or just getting together to have a beer and great conversations.
Ken and Geri were married on May 24, 1986, and together for over 40 years. They lived in Hammond, WI and moved north to Big Mackenzie Lake, then in Voyageur Village, WI before settling in their current home in Dresser, WI.
Ken loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a devout Packers fan and Sunday’s were usually in front of the TV watching football. He had a tender heart and adored his wife, Geri.
Ken was employed for 39 years at the Ford Motor Company in St. Paul, MN. He started his career at Ford as an Assemblyman and worked his way up to Operations Manager before retiring.
Retirement didn’t slow him down as he worked as a landscaper and did various carpentry work.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 4 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services 728 S Knowles Avenue New Richmond, WI. Visitation will also be on Sunday from 2-4 pm at the funeral home. Private interment will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Dresser, WI at a later date. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
