Kathryn “Kay” Timmerman, age 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Hudson Hospital in Hudson, Wisconsin. She was born the daughter of Richard and Mary Sager on January 9, 1944 in New Richmond, Wisconsin. Kay grew up in New Richmond, graduating from New Richmond High School in 1962. She married A. John Timmerman on May 7, 1966 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Richmond. Kay loved reading and knitting. She is preceded in death by her husband, John; parents, Richard and Mary Sager; father-in-law, Albert; brother-in-law, Dave Berends; and nephew, Joe Berends. Kay is survived by siblings, Judy Berends, Jim (Becky) Sager, Karen (Tom) Anton, Colleen (Bob) Quist; mother-in-law, Peg; siblings-in-law, Harley (Sue), Jean (Del) Wacker, George (Susanne), and Margaret Ann (Nick Parker); and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A private family memorial service was held on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 2PM at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S. Knowles Ave) in New Richmond. Interment was in Northern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Spooner, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

So sorry to hear of Kay’s passing. Sympathy to her family. She was a good friend.
