Kathryn “Kaye” Ohrt 06/16/2014

Kathryn “Kaye” Ohrt age 75 of Hudson passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 at her home.  She was born the daughter of Delward and Isabelle (McDonell) Hendrickson on May 11, 1939 in Barron, WI.  On December 27, 1958, she married David Ohrt.  Kaye enjoyed volunteering for various groups and organizations within the community.  She served on the Board of Directors of the Hudson Memorial Health Foundation and Community Action.  Kaye spent many years volunteering at the Hospital gift shop and with the Junior Golf Program at the Hudson Country Club.  She was an active member at Trinity Lutheran Church.  She taught Christian education classes and served on various committees throughout the years.  Kaye was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, John Hendrickson.  She is survived by her husband, Dave; son, Greg; grandsons, Dave, Mike and Erik; great-granddaughter, Kylie; sister, Ann Tout; step-mother, Lucille Hendrickson; sister-in-laws, Mary Hendrickson and Shirley Ohrt; brother-in-law, Don Gilbertson.  A celebration of Kaye’s life was held Friday, June 20, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church (1205 6th St.) in Hudson.  Visitation was also Friday from 1:00-2:00 pm at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of Hudson
