Karen Magler 06/19/2021

Karen Karen Louise Magler, age 60 of Connorsville, WI, died on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at her home. Karen was born the daughter of Melvin and Marcia (Christensen) Fritz on September 27, 1960, in Amery, WI. She spent her childhood years in Clear Lake, WI and New Richmond, WI graduating from New Richmond High School with the class of 1978. After high school, Karen got married and started a family. She worked as bartender for many years. Karen owned and operated the Connorsville Cheese Store and Karen’s Sew Sweet Shop. She enjoyed gardening, needlework, and working on their hobby farm. Karen loved supporting her children, stepchildren, and grandchildren in all their activities. She was an amazing woman and entrepreneur. Karen was loving, honest, hardworking, dedicated, helpful and most of all selfless. She is preceded in death by her father, Melvin Fritz; stepson, Jeffrey Boardman; sisters, Kim Norlander, and Heidi Boardman; and an infant brother, Mark Fritz. Karen is survived by her husband, Rick Magler; children, Jeremy (Lizze) Ziemer, Joshua (April) Ziemer, Jebediah (Dalynn Trimble) Ziemer; step-children, Maria Paulson, Erick Magler, Melissa (Bob) Antonsen, Jessica Magler, Alexandria Magler; grandchildren, Samantha and Allen Ziemer, Riley and Reagan Thompson, Maddy and Maverick Ziemer, Isaac Ziemer, Melinda and Mckenna Trimble, Briggs Ziemer, Xander, Jaxx, Nova and Roux Paulson, Logan and Grace Magler, Murrella Antonsen; mother, Marcia Heinbuch; brothers, Marlo (Lori) Fritz, Thomas Schnitzler; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Karen’s Life was held on Friday June 25, 2021, from 4-8 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services 728 S Knowles Avenue New Richmond, WI. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
