Judy Sempf 07/22/2018

Judy Kay Sempf, age 74, of New Richmond passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at The Deerfield Gables. She was born in Bloomer, WI the daughter of Stafford and Betty Gullickson on October 17, 1943. In 1968, she married Eugene Sempf at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Bloomer, WI and then moved to New Richmond. Judy and Gene were blessed with four children. She enjoyed flower gardening, knitting/crocheting and reading. Judy loved her grandchildren, annual family vacations and all family time together. Judy had a “soft” spot for dogs and treated them as part of the family. She is survived by her children, Wendy of Rochester, MN, Tim of New Richmond, Jim of Clear Lake, and Joe (Loni) of New Richmond; grandsons, Corey and Brady; granddaughter, Joey; sisters, Bette Lou Johnson, Linda (Kirby) Olson, Sharon (Ray) Miles; her dog, Tuffy; and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Judy is preceded in death by her parents; Stafford and Betty Gullickson; husband, Gene Sempf; brother, Chuck Gullickson; and beloved dog, Susie. A memorial service was held Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 1 pm at Bakken-Young Beebe Chapel (112 W 3rd St.) in New Richmond. Visitation was also Wednesday from 12-1 pm before the service. Private family interment will be in Marsh Lake Cemetery in Clayton, WI. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
