John Mihm 01/30/2014

John P. Mihm age 64 of New Richmond, WI formerly of Mankato died January 30, 2014 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN.  He was born the son of Joseph and Amalia “Molly” (Weninger) Mihm on February 18, 1949 in Waseca.  John graduated Sacred Heart High School in 1967 and worked for 25+ years at Brown Printing in Waseca, he retired in 1989 and moved to New Richmond, WI where he began working for St. Croix Press.  In 1991, he married his best friend Anne Chatleain also from Mankato, together they enjoyed fishing and playing pool in various leagues.  John is preceded in death by his parents.  Survived by wife, Anne; children, Jennifer (Henry) Schneider, John (Dina) Mihm, Darcey (Dan) Fettig; step-children, Carlianne (Jon) Mann, Mick (Marisel) Glackler-Riquelme; grandchildren, Harrison, Jackson, Evan, Gabrielle, Jordan and Emma; step-grandchildren, Morrigan, Brookelyn, Nevada, Alayna, Allysen, Sesamae, Karinya, Isaluna; siblings, Pat (Keith) Williams, Josephine Olson, Barb Tesch, William (Suzi) Mihm, Cindy (Gary) Detjen, Tom (Linda) Mihm; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.  A memorial visitation was held Sunday, February 2, 2014 from 1:00-4:00 pm at Bakken-Young Beebe Chapel (112 W 3rd St.) in New Richmond, WI. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
