John Lindberg 05/19/2021

John Paul Lindberg, age 52 of Star Prairie, WI died on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at his home after a two-year battle with cancer. He was born the son of Paul and Cheryl Lindberg on January 30, 1969 in Saint Paul, MN. John grew up in Boardman graduating from New Richmond High School, class of 1987. He married Julie Hammer on March 17, 1990 in Stillwater, MN. Following school, John worked a variety of jobs including custodian and mechanic. He loved camping and collected model trains. John was outgoing and always willing to help people. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul; sister, Kristy; and father-in-law, Ron Hammer Sr. John is survived by his wife, Julie; children, Nicole and Matt; mother, Cheryl; siblings, Lorrie Landry, Paul Lindberg, Kim Pederstuen, Kevin Lindberg; mother-in-law, Anita (Robert) LaBarre; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation services are provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
