Gerald Colburn 05/10/2015

Gerald Wayne Colburn, age 84 of Emerald, WI, died Sunday, May 10, 2015 at United Hospital in St. Paul.  Jerry was born on July 16, 1930 to Paul and Minnie (Zilmer) Colburn in Woodville, WI.  At different times, he owned and operated his own farm, excavating business, and milk route.  He enjoyed working in his yard and tinkering.  Jerry was a hardworking, independent, man who was stong willed and frugile.  He is survived by his wife, Darleen Colburn; daughter, Linda (Thomas) Koepke; son, James (Anna) Colburn; granddaughter, Sherry (Jason) Koons; great-grandchildren, Nicole, Jordan, Alexis; sister, Arlis Schleusner; and nephews.  He will be missed by special “dude” Jack.  A Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 11 am at the Bakken-Young Beebe Chapel 112 W 3rd Street New Richmond.  Visitation was also Wednesday from 10-11 am at the funeral home.  Interment was in Boardman Cemetery.  Arrangments are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
