Jeffrey Listner 04/04/2024

Jeffrey “Jeff” Oliver Listner of Baldwin, Wisconsin was born on August 14th, 1965, and sadly passed away on April 4th, 2024, at 4:35 PM. When he passed, Jeff was surrounded by one of his wonderful hospice nurses, his sister Lynette, and his son Zach who sat at his side and held his hand till the very end. Jeff loved nothing more than being able to help people and showed his kindness in various ways that touched many. Jeff was a hard-working, compassionate, and goofy man in addition to being a wonderful father. While his time on this Earth was too short, he never failed to bring a smile to everyone’s face when he entered the room. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Doris. He will be greatly missed by many, especially his dog Rosie and his son Zach who he raised to be something he could be proud of and love unconditionally. He was the best dad and will be missed by many. Jeff’s family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care he and his loved ones were provided each week by his staff through St. Croix Hospice: Mikayla, Molly, Jill, and Linda. They brought so much joy and comfort to Jeff and his family in his last weeks. Following Jeff’s request no formal services will be held.  A celebration honoring Jeff’s life for his family and close friends will be planned. Cremation services provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

Jeff was always a great person to talk and laugh with. I was friends with his brother Ron, and that’s how I became friends with Jeff. I will remember Jeff due to him always being a great, funny and beautiful soul. My thoughts go out to his family.

Jeff, I’ve thought of you often over the years and smiled when I thought of you. Shocked to hear of your passing cause I always hoped to see you again now I will have to wait until the heavens bring us together again. We had some fantastic, fun filled adventures and I will cherish those memories. Love you always and forever

I met Jeff when I moved into his building. He was always such a a cheerful, kind, and funny guy. He loved his lil puppers so much. Jeff always had a smile on his face and could talk about his family with such love in his eyes.
    Jeff will be missed dearly!

My childhood friend, my Oh my the adventures we had. Jumping trains, spelunking, parties, playing pool all day and night, going to rock concerts. He was by my side for so many wonderful memories. He will be missed, but I will always remember his friendship most!
