Jean Roach 03/27/2017

Jean Theresa Roach age 88 of New Richmond passed away peacefully on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Westfields Hospital.  She was born the daughter of Nick and Molly (Pryor) Roach on July 1, 1928 in St. Paul, MN.  Jean was very proud of her Irish heritage and she traveled to Ireland several times.  She was so grateful for her many devoted friends of all ages.  Jean cherished her conversations and time spent with them.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Molly; sisters, Mary Johnson, Josephine Roberts, Peg Cullen, Ethel Roach; and niece Jane (Cullen) Werner.  Jean is survived by her nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great nephews; many cherished friends; and her beloved dog, Dublin.  A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Immaculate Conception Church in New Richmond.  Visitation was at Bakken-Young Beebe Chapel on Saturday from 10:00-11:30 am.  Interment was in Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery with Bill Evenson, Brian Hop, Dennis Early, Stanley Soderquist, John Dean and Jon Ronning as the Pallbearers.  Jean’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Cindy Ludtke and Stanley Soderquist for the wonderful care, love and support they gave Jean for so many years.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
