Janice White 01/07/2015

Jan White age 58 of Hammond passed away after a brief battle with cancer on January 7, 2015 at Westfields Hospital in New Richmond.  She was born the daughter of Robert and Arliss Dewyn on February 23, 1956 in Pasadena, CA.  Jan graduated from Palmdale High School.  She is survived by her husband, Rick; brother, Gary Dewyn,  her beloved cat, Shadow; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dave (Nancy) White, John White, Jani White and Cindy White; cousin, Marie Leedom; many nieces, nephews; other extended family and friends, including Sam and Gert Schrandt.  Jan is preceded in death by her parents.  Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (1265 Ridgeway St.) in Hammond.  Visitation was also Thursday from 10-11 am at the church.  Interment was in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of Hudson.
