When I was a new clerk of court Jan was generous with her time and expertise. I will remember Jan as the first person I would turn to when I needed advice because she was so nonjudgmental and quick to apply her humor as well as her knowledge. I am sad for all who loved her and know she will be greatly missed. Goodbye to a wonderful mentor and friend.

Jan was my mentor when I became a new court clerk. She was always willing to lend a hand and I heard from her that “there is no dumb question!!” Rest In Peace Jan — I am very sad we won’t be crossing paths in this life — but hopefully we will see each other again.
