James H. Larson, age 83, of North Hudson and Lake Panasoffker, FL died Monday, July 27, 2020 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Jim worked for Stokely Van Camps for 32 years and then owned and operated Jim’s Concrete Lawn Ornaments for the past 51 years. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ethel; daughters, Nancy (David) Ray, Mary Jane (Mark) Wang; grandchildren, Danielle Ledesma, Cassandra (Brandon) Saumer, Stephanie Wang, Stacy (Bryant) Nemec, Jake (Lexi) Wang, Nicholas Wang; great-grandchildren, Dakota Peabody, Mikah Ledesma, Clayton Holz, Emma Nemec, Elly Nemec, Hannah Saumer, Lucas Wang; brothers, Donald (Virginia) Larson, Gerald (Lori) Larson; 2 nieces and 1 nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents; Norman and Hazel Larson. A Memorial Gathering was be held Friday, August 14, 2020 from 1:00-4:00 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (805 E Division St.) in River Falls. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

I was saddened to hear that Jim passed away. I have many fond memories of him and your family. I especially remember going to Mexico with your family, staying in Siren, Jim and Ethel taking us rollerskating and just having fun hanging out with your family when I was young.
