James Croes

James “Jim” William Croes, 82, passed away on November 5, 2020. Jim was a longtime farmer in Cylon Township. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends discussing everything from farming to politics and would like to remind you that you had the right to your opinion no matter how wrong you actually were.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sharleen M. Croes; children, Andrea Wilkerson (Robert), Kevin Croes (Roxanne), Deanna Croes; grandchildren, Richard and Allen Croes; and sister Marianne Green.

He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Mary (Pace) Croes; and sons, Paul and Keith Croes.

With deep concern for family and friends at this time, a graveside service for immediate family members will be held at Holy Rosary Cemetery. From his vantage point at the cemetery he can keep an eye on the land he farmed for over 60 years. As per usual for family events, Jim will be told to arrive 30 minutes early in the hopes that he arrives on time. Jim will be missed by his family and many other relatives and friends.
