Ina L. Hill died on December 27, 2020 at the age 83. Born in Manchester Tennessee, she was a long-time resident of River Falls and taught a generation of young readers as a teacher’s aide at Greenwood Elementary. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1957 and was active in support of education and an avid reader all her life.
She is survived by her daughter Cindy, her son Don, and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years John in 2017.
Private services for family will be held. Memorials may be directed to the Ina and John Hill Chemistry Research Scholarship at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls or to the Unitarian Universalist Society of River Falls.
Her devotion to her family was fierce and unwavering.

Just Classy People ….. Ina AND John
I worked with Ina years ago at Greenwood. She was a wonderful person.
Ina and I had been friends since 1984 when I moved to River Falls. We did swam and water aerobic classes together for many years. When I moved we kept in touch as much as possible whenever I was able to come and visit and through letters and cards. What a lovely couple. Really kind and caring. She never let her arthritis get in her way of doing things. Rest in Peace my dear friend.
