Howie was a wonderful friend, chiropractor and just a fine person. He could relate to anyone and I miss knowing he is not here. He’s in a much better place making everyone feel welcome in heaven. Hope to see you soon Howie. Love Roger
Roger , I know he treasured your friendship. Would love to hear more stories from your college days! Thank you for your kind words and call last evening. Take care.
To get confirmed at the Glenwood Lutheran Church I had to recite from memory the entire Small Catechism by Martin Luther, and all the explained meanings, to Howard, and he made it a pleasant experience! I will never forget him. Kay and Jeff, I am so sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man.
He was always so active in the community. Thanks for sharing this memory with us 😊 I remember having to memorize all that for confirmation as well!

Hi neighbor , thanks for the kind words. We were so blessed growing up in Glenwood – it truly was a village! I remember your dog ?Chloe hated storms and she always ran into our house to hide ! Hope you and the family are well.
Tears for losing Howie. I know he is in a better place and enjoying seeing Jan – the video was heartwarming….he was such a dear person – so thankful I knew him and for his care in chiropractic. Forever in our hearts. So sorry for your loss Kay and Jeff and family.
Thanks for your kind words Lisle and also for the picture from your parents wedding. So fun to see them at that age!
Uncle Howard was a loving, kind, and caring man. He was also a wonderful chiropractor! He treated me for many years and when our youngest son Austin had a back issue, Uncle Howard helped him out as well. Immediately after that treatment he was renamed “Greatest Uncle Howard” by Austin and since then and forever more our family referred to him as just that! We told this story to “Greatest Uncle Howard” and it made him smile and chuckle:) How blessed we were to have him and Jan in our lives.
Howard and Jan were wonderful neighbors of ours in the Rustic Ridge neighborhood of New Richmond. They were very friendly and helpful. Our condolences on your loss of father and grandfather that we called Howie.
