Henry “Sherman” Norden, age 77 died on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Safe Haven in Boyceville, WI. Sherman was born on September 27, 1940 to parents, Henry Victor and Sarah Mae (nee Wells) La Rose in Star Prairie, WI. He grew up in Star Prairie attending school at Cedar Lake School and graduating Osceola High School in 1961. He enjoys long walks, fishing, and watching the Green Bay Packers. Sherman was kind, laidback, and humorous. He is preceded in death by his parents; and many other relatives. Sherman is survived by siblings, Sarah Loretta, Carl Edward (Gail), and Dorothy Christine Dahl; and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A funeral service was held Friday, September 21, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (112 W 3rd street, New Richmond, WI 54017) with visitation starting at 12:30pm. Interment was held in Oakland Cemetery in Star Prairie, WI. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
