I have been Helen’s personal librarian for 7 years, and visited her monthly. She was a kind soul with many things to talk about, she had the gift of gab but I loved listening to her stories. I looked forward to our visits on the phone and in person. She loved a variety of books, from non-fiction, historical and educational biographies. My last visit, she had forgotten to come downstairs, so I went up to her room and she shared with me her puzzle she was working on, while she was waiting for her small hot-dish to finish in the oven. I will miss her honesty, story telling and her genuine laugh. I have a beautiful picture of her reading if you would like me to send it to you, please send me your email. Sincerely, Nora
