Hazel I. Erickson 09/23/2023

Hazel I. Erickson, age 97, of Plum City, formerly of Stockholm, Wisconsin, died Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Plum City Care Center. She was born the daughter of Frank and Hulda Larson on April 14, 1926, in Maiden Rock. On April 26, 1947, she married Gaylord D. Erickson at the Lund Mission Covenant Church parsonage. Hazel and Gaylord farmed in rural Stockholm for 59 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Hulda; husband, Gaylord; son, Donald; sisters, Lorraine and Violet; brothers, Wilbert, Roy, Melford, Roy, and Russel; and grandson, Jonathan. Hazel is survived by grandchildren, Christopher, Jason, and Jessamyn; and six great-grandchildren. Interment will be Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 12 noon in New Sabylund Cemetery. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
