Harold Johnson 03/12/2021

Harold James Johnson passed away peacefully with loving family at his side on March 12, 2021, at the age of 70, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on January 21, 1951. Harold gave life his full attention. He owned his own business for many years and was highly skilled at beautifying and designing landscapes for homes and businesses. He will be greatly missed for the undivided attention and kind spirit he showed others. Harold was admired for the uncomplaining & heroic attitude he demonstrated during his illness. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Victoria; father, Kenneth; and brother, Lynn. He is survived by his mother, Marjorie; children, Sarah (Dan) George of California, Samuel, Joseph, Rebecca, Tonya and Martin; sister, Joanne (Terry) Masso; twin brother, Howard (Denise); sister-in-law, Nancy; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Andrew, Matthew, Eva, Danielle, Cameron, Riley, Safire; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Dad was first; a generous, loving and devoted father and husband. Harold’s passion to help people was one of his greatest contributions to the world. You can drive all around the surrounding areas and see the beauty and love that Harold planted all around. Harold’s Custom Design & Landscaping was a passion that helped him achieve a life that he wanted for his wife and family. Summing up Harold’s life in three words is a hard choice, so we have chosen two phrases: “Family, love and determination”; and “work, before play”. He knew a hard days work would provide for his wife and family. Dad, at last you are reunited with Mom, the love of your life! In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 2:00PM at Saint Bridget’s Catholic Church Gardenview Room (211 E Division Street) in River Falls with a visitation starting at 12 noon. Inurnment was in Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
