Gracee Lynn Schneider 04/18/2019

Gracee Lynn Schneider, age 8, of Somerset died Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Children’s Hospital in St. Paul, MN. She was born January 20, 2011 in Green Bay, WI. She defied all the odds and had fought hard all her life. Gracee LOVED life and had an unforgettable smile. Her family is reminded of the scripture passage 2 Timothy 4:7 when they think of Gracee. She is survived by her mother, Mary Schneider-Carter; her father, Don Carter; sisters, Kelsey Reeck, Alexandra Saye, Amberlee Johnson; brothers, George Schnieder and Jonah Friberg; nephew, Lewis Schneider; aunt, Jan Prelgo and her family; as well as lots of extended family. A remembrance gathering was held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 1-3 pm with a memorial service at 2 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave.) in New Richmond. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Global Hydranencephaly Foundation. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
