I am a Deerfield volunteeer and I cannot express the words as to the way she treated everyone. I also enjoyed seeing her at our church for worship and visiting with her. She was one great lady. RIP Gerry, you really deserve it.

I remember seeing Gerry at the Centre when I would frequent there daily when my children were younger. She ALWAYS had the biggest smile, and was full of such pep! She would always greet me and seemed so happy to see me, which is a wonderful feeling.
I aspire to be like her today and always. Condolences to her family and friends, she will certainly be missed.

Gerry was like a shining light, always. She was so loving and compassionate. Always giving us hugs at church and asking about my girls. Gerry and Ken were part of our church family for so many years. We miss them both but know they are resting peacefully together. She is a great example of a faithful servant, loving mother, and cheerful friend! Our sympathies to the Lokhorst family.

Our sincere condolences to Gerry’s family and friends. Please know that so many people share your grief with you and will help you through this difficult time. May your many wonderful memories outweigh your sadness. This Bible verse recorded in Revelation 21:4 has been of comfort to our family when experiencing a tragedy. It reads “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”. May God Jehovah give strength and his love to each of you.

I knew her from the centre when I went swimming. She was so bubbly and always laughing. My Mom had so much fun with her when they went to the casino together. She will be missed.

I grew up in Baldwin and knew Gerry’s brother, John, we’ll. I got to know Gerry when she became good friends with my brother-in-law, Leroy, at The Deerfield. They would get together and play Uno or cards etc. They were good for each other and I’m sure Leroy will miss her.
Sincere condolences to her family and friends.

I knew Gerry for 35 years. In addition to sharing a great fondness for her daughter Denise, we also shared a fondness for “Happy Hour.” When I would visit New Richmond, she would always have a fresh supply of my favorite local Wisconsin beer on hand, New Glarus. When 5:00 rolled around, it was time for her to say with glee, “Let’s get Happy!” Whether we were enjoying a sunset in Puerto Vallarta or laughing together at the Deerfield, we created many, many happy memories together. I’m sad that there will be no new happy memories with Gerry, and I miss her so very much.
