Geraldine M. Germain, age 87 of Somerset, WI, died on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Orchard View Terrace in New Richmond, WI. Geri was born the daughter of Leander and Florence (Baillargeon) Demulling on June 15, 1937, at home in Johannesburg, St. Croix County, Wisconsin. She grew up in New Richmond WI and graduated from New Richmond High School with the class of 1951. Geraldine was married to Gerald Germain on June 30, 1956. They spent the rest of their married lives doing everything together. They built a house on the hobby farm where they raised their family. Geri enjoyed golfing, gardening, and spending winters in Arizona. She was a smart, strong woman with a big heart. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Geri loved her family. Geri was known for her homemade meals and generosity. Geri was a parishioner of St. Anne’s Catholic Church most of her life, she had deep profound Catholic faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leander and Florence Demulling; husband, Gerald Germain; daughter, Brenda K. Germain; sister, Corrine (Don) Johnson; and extended family, Michael Wente. Geri is survived by her children, Gary Germain, Dale Germain, Shelly (Gary) Jessen, Debbie (Marty) Olson; grandchildren, Kevin (Jessie) Jessen, Kristin Jessen, Justine Kolve, Grady Olson, Brodie (Lexi) Olson; great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Claira Jessen, Kourtney Kolve, Harvey Breckner, Delaney Olson; extended family, Paul Hermodson; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Orchard View Terrace and Lakeview Hospital Hospice who cared for our beloved mother. Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, May 12, 2025, at 11 am at St. Anne’s Catholic Church 141 Church Hill Road, Somerset, WI. Visitation was also on Monday from 10-11 am at the church. Interment was in St. Anne’s Cemetery. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
