Gerald “Skip” Robison 01/09/2025

Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Gerald “Skip” Dewayne Robison passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025, at his home in River Falls, Wisconsin with his wife, Paula, by his side. He was 80 years old. Skip was born on September 25, 1944, in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Donald and Alice Robison. He graduated from Altoona High School earning a full scholarship to Penn State University, where he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
After college, he worked for Westinghouse Research and then Hunter Hygiene Architectural.
Additionally, he worked for Packard Electric focusing on machine vision quality control. Finally, he retired from the Newton Falls, Ohio Water Department as a plant operator.
He married Paula Brittain of Newton Falls, Ohio in February of 1989. They lived together in Newton Falls until moving to Edmond, Oklahoma in 2016. In 2022, they moved to their current home in River Falls.
Skip was an active member of Heritage Presbyterian Church in Edmond where he sang in two separate choirs. He was also an active participant in his local HOA where he organized and supervised multiple projects improving their community.

Skip was my cousin. The last time I saw him was when we were both children, and his family came to Harrisburg for a visit. His mom was my mother’s sister. My condolences to the family.

People pass, but memories never die. And I am so very thankful to have such wonderful memories of Skip, even though our paths’ crossing was short. To have known such a gift to this world is an honor indeed, and he remains as alive as ever in my heart and mind. Brilliant. Creative. A servant and a comfort… I praise God for his life and my chance to enjoy even a small part. Tonight we raise a toast to Skip’s life, and prayers of consolation and joy for those he leaves behind.

    For now.

    We’ll see you again, Skip!
