Gerald Vernal Larson “Jerry”, age 84 of Baldwin, WI, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at the Baldwin Care Center. Jerry was born on August 21, 1933 to Lawrence G. and Vida Beebe Larson in Cylon, WI. He graduated from Baldwin High School in 1953. Jerry served his country in the U.S. Army, stationed in Japan. He worked for many years at Fabri Tek in Baldwin, and also at the St. Croix Casino. He worked with the Village of Baldwin and was associated with the fire department and EMS. Jerry enjoyed going to dances and being with his family. He was an active member of the Baldwin American Legion. He is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Vida Larson; brothers, Norman (Marilyn) Larson and Gilbert Larson; sister, Carol Kjeseth; niece, Linda Larson; and infant nephew, Bruce Larson. Jerry is survived by his brothers, Reuben (Lois) Larson of Baldwin, WI and Paul (Beverly) Larson of Chippewa Falls, WI; several nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law, Ralph Kjeseth. A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 1:30 pm at the Bakken-Young Funeral Home 1750 8th Avenue Baldwin, WI. Visitation was also Saturday from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at the funeral home. Interment was in Cylon Cemetery, Cylon, WI. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of Baldwin.
