Gail Soderquist 11/11/2018

Gail Diane (Peterson) Soderquist, age 71 of Star Prairie, WI, died November 11, 2018. She was born the daughter of Harland and Viola Peterson on February 6, 1947 in Glenwood City, WI. She graduated from New Richmond High School with the class of 1965. Gail was married to Gerald “Jerry” Soderquist on June 18, 1966. They shared 52 years of marriage together. They made their home in Star Prairie and were very active in the community. Gail enjoyed snowmobiling, golfing, camping and traveling. She liked softball, bowling and trips to the casino. She followed the kid’s hockey games, and spent time crocheting, sewing and scrap booking. Gail worked at different jobs, but she loved the 20 years that she provided daycare in her home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harland and Viola Peterson; brother, Roger Peterson; father-in-law, Robert Soderquist; and brother-in-law, Curt Bulman. Gail is survived by her husband, Jerry Soderquist; brother, Glen (Gayle) Peterson; sisters, Linda Paquin, Tammie Gross; sisters-in-law, Barb (Samuel) Boatman, Diane Bulman, Betty Peterson; mother-in-law, Lorraine Soderquist; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Memorial Service was held on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 12 pm at Bethany Lutheran Church 415 Bridge Avenue Star Prairie, WI. Memorial visitation was also Friday from 10am-12 noon at the church. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery in Star Prairie at a later date. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
