Gail Ann Ennis, age 73, from New Richmond Wisconsin, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Gail was born in Niles, Michigan. She grew up there for a while until the family moved to Wisconsin. Gail was someone who loved to dance, and met her husband in Spooner, Wisconsin. Gail had a few jobs over the years. She cleaned homes, cooked at the school and then cooked at the Washington County jail, in which she retired from. Gail’s greatest treasure was her family.
Gail was the loving wife of Chuck, which they shared 52 years of love.
Gail was a devoted mother and grandma and great grandma to;
Son, Ron (Camille); grandchildren, Charles (Halie) and Kat (Destinee); great grandchildren, Chase, Chaz, Colion and Carter; and great-great grandchild, Rowan.
Son, Robert (Christina); grandchildren, Joshua, Zachary, Andrew (Paige); and great grandchildren, Aubree, Brynlee, Caiden, Braxton and Declan.
Daughter, Theresa (Steven); grandchildren, Kayla (Dennis), Mandy (Arnaldo), Tyler (Bri) and Logan; great grandchildren, Mason, Nyero, Jennavecia, Malaya, Emma, Jeremiah, Azzie, Killian and Ryan.
The love Gail gave her family and the memories will forever be in their hearts. Gail has many cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters that she also leaves behind.
The goodbye is hard on the family, but they know Gail is at peace and no more pain. Her battle with cancer took over but Gail was a fighter and fought till the end.
Gail entered heaven to be back with her father Jack, mother Dorothy and her sisters Jacqueline and Sandra; brother, Wayne; niece, Kearalee; and great-grandson, Ryan.
Gail leaves behind a lot of people who love her and will treasure all the memories, life lessons and funny times she made. We pray that you are at peace and in no more pain. We love you, Gail.
An open house visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 4:00 – 7:00PM at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave) New Richmond, Wisconsin.
