Frederick Riermann 04/27/2018

Frederick H. Riermann, age 83 of New Richmond, WI, died on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Westfields Hospital in New Richmond. Fred was born the son of Hubert and Alma (Schwieters) Riermann on December 19, 1934 in Sauk Centre, MN. Fred owned operated American Structural Metals and Miscellaneous Metal Fabricators. His company built the 1996 Winter Olympic Torch, US Bank Stadium, Minneapolis Skyways, and Target Field. On August 25, 2000, Fred was married to Penny McDonnell. He enjoyed welding, fishing and guns. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Alma Riermann; and sisters, Martha and Jane. Fred is survived by his wife, Penny Riermann; children, Michelle (Robert) Carlson, Rick (Kari) Riermann, John (Jenny) Riermann, Ben McDonnell, Molly Riermann; grandchildren, Eric (Taylor) Carlson, Alyssa Carlson, Evan Carlson, Caleb Riermann, Emily Riermann, Ellie Riermann, Maggie Riermann, Grace Riermann; and sisters, Irene and Mary. A Memorial Service was held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 2 pm at St. Anne’s Church 141 Church Hill Road Somerset, WI. Visitation was also on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 1-2 pm at the church. Interment was in St. Anne’s Cemetery. A reception was held at Meister’s Bar and Grill in Boardman. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
