Frank H Springer, age 77 of New Richmond, died on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Bethesda Rehabilitation Hospital in St. Paul. Frank was born March 21, 1936 at New Richmond, WI to Henry Peter Springer and Florence (Bock) Springer. He married Bernice Albrecht on August 19, 1967 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Frank worked as a machinist at Doboy in New Richmond and Honeywell in Golden Valley, MN. He retired in 2008. Frank’s hobby was making wooden toys. He was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church where he was confirmed and served as a Trustee and an usher. He graduated from New Richmond High School with the class of 1954. He is preceded in death by his parents; aunts, Alice Bock and Carolyn (Springer) Kidder; cousins, Joanne Van Schoonhaven and Dorothy Haley; and uncles, Ludwig Springer and Ervin Springer. Frank is survived by his wife, Bernice Springer; brother, David Springer; and brothers-in-law, James (Denise) Albrecht, Charles Albrecht, and Allen (Dee) Albrecht. A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 11 am at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in New Richmond. Visitation was also Tuesday from 9-11 am at the church. Interment wasl in Calvary Cemetery in Deer Park. Honorary pallbearers are Don Derosier, Dennis Derosier, Troy Derosier, Ronald Friedrich, Lowell Volkert, Dale Strege. Memorials may be directed to the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church AV Technology project. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services, Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
