Mary Lou was one of my favorite people. I have known her and her husband Bob for many years and admired both of them as good and honest people. Mary Lou was always able to be upbeat despite circumstances. She will be missed by many.

Mary Lou had an infectious smile that always brought a smile to your own face.
At West Elementary she enjoyed her position as cook in the cafeteria. Mary Lou was always welcoming to the kids,
staff and parents that came for lunch. Wonderful lady!

I want to extend my condolences to all of Mary Lou’s immediate faimly and the extended Peterson family. (This is Dan Peterson writing—one of Wes Peterson’s kids living in Seattle.)

Since we moved from Wisconsin long ago, I only saw Mary Lou three times since 1966 when we moved. But each time, I was reminded of how she was such a kind, caring person. We grew up with Mary Lou and Bob and kids, and always had great respect for them and many joyful times. My dad, Wes, always expressed his love and respect for Mary Lou.

    May she rest in peace.
