Evelyn V. Schmig, age 90, formerly of Lakeland, MN, died on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in Stillwater, MN.  Preceded in death by husband, Barney Schmig; parents, Felix and Helen Mondry; siblings, Arthur Mondry, Esther Gilbert, and Loretta Crisler.  Survived by sons, Al (Carol) Schmig, Steve Schmig; grandchildren, Amy (Brad) Medved, Jesse Schmig; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Nathan, and Zachary Medved; brother, Ernest (Loretta) Mondry.  Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 10:30 am at St. Francis of Assisi Parish 16770 13th Street S Lakeland, MN.  Visitation was also Monday from 9:30-10:30 am at the church.  Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of Hudson.
