Eric Herbison 01/25/2014

Eric D. Herbison, age 48 of New Richmond, died on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident. Eric was born the son of Arthur and Shirley (Mc Laughlin) Herbison on September 27, 1965 in Plum City, WI. He grew up near Pepin, WI and graduated from Pepin High School in 1984. Eric attended 2 years of Vo-Tech in Eau Claire, WI. He was a Snap-On dealer for 15 years with a route in Minnesota. He worked for Prestige Paving for the past 3 years. Eric was a dirt track racer at Cedar Lake Speedway in Class B Modified and was also involved with racing the road circuit for a number of years. He enjoyed racing, hunting, and making things go faster. He could fix anything, and was willing to help anyone who asked. Eric was self confident and full of life. He was generous and giving and a friend to everyone. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Herbison; son Brodie Herbison; parents, Arthur and Shirley Herbison; brothers, Randall, Wendell, Gary (Cheryl), Eddy (Karen), Calvin, Brian (Sharon), and Dana (Lisa) Herbison; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A celebration of Eric’s life was held Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 4 to? at the Willow River Saloon in Burkhardt, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.  Cremation services provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
