Emma Alcina, age 85 of New Richmond, WI, died on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Westfields Hospital in New Richmond. Emma was born the daughter of Aurelio and Celia Alcina on March 14, 1940 in Playa Guanabo, Havana, Cuba. Emma always put family first. She loved cooking for them and always made sure they left with a container for “lunch”. She possessed a green thumb and enjoyed taking care of her many plants. Her Children include: Elaine Boladeres Flores, Emma Boladeres-Alcina (Annie Cernohous), Maggie Boladeres, and Annette Hynek. Emma loved nothing more than her grandchildren: Christopher (Danielle) Boladeres, Sandra (Jeremy) Rutledge, Andrew (Alexa) Hynek, Briana Ferre, and Agustin Ferrer; and great-grandchildren: Alec, Natalie, Bridget Ayanna, Julien, Peyton, Paisley, Tegan, Ameila, Grace, Edward, Brenda, Daisy, Vivian, Lorraine and Aleister. A Funeral Service was held on Friday, November 14, 2024 at 7 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services 728 S Knowles Avenue New Richmond, WI. Visitation was also on Friday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in New Richmond. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

Oh mama! You were such a blessing to me in more ways than one. I finally got that boyfriend you wished for me! I still to this day eat yucca but there is no one who made it the way you did! I remember so many things you said to me and encouraged me to do! You were the most amazing mama to me , I can’t fathom this life without you in it!
