Elaine Iverson 04/01/2020

Elaine M. Iverson, age 90 of Hudson, WI and formerly of Spicer, MN, passed peacefully on April 1, 2020 at Woodland Hill assisted living in Hudson. Elaine was born on November 19, 1929 in Wheaton, MN. She graduated from Wheaton High School. She entered North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND and graduated with a degree in pharmacy. Elaine was one of the first women to enter that field of study at NDSU. She worked at the Watertown, SD hospital pharmacy. It was there Elaine met Alvin C. Iverson and they were married on October 3, 1954 in Wheaton, MN. Alvin’s job moved them to Esterville, Iowa and then to Spicer, MN where Elaine did relief work for New London Drug and neighboring pharmacies around the county. Elaine is survived by her son, David; daughter, Nancy (Rick) Banes and their children Christopher, Eric and Ellie; and daughter, Karla (Robin) Frederickson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; and her parents, William and Mable Lichtsinn. Services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Spicer, MN at a later date. Cremation Services have been provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
