Edward Wittstock 08/04/2020

Edward “Ed” Wittstock, age 72, of Webb Lake, WI passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from esophageal cancer at his home on the lake.  He was born the son to Ernest and Mildred (Newville) Wittstock on February 12, 1948 in Amery, WI . Ed worked for Berwald Commercial Roofing for 40 years.  He retired in 2008.  He absolutely loved his retirement home on Webb Lake and spent most days fishing and feeding the deer and birds.  Ed enjoyed winter’s in Arizona, watching old western movies and time with family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Mildred Wittstock; infant sister, Brenda Wittstock; brother, Ronald Wittstock; sister-in-law, Karen Wittstock; nieces and nephews, Michele Wittstock, Sarah Stewart, Ben Schweitzer, Jon Moe; son-in-law, John Belflowers.  He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Melba Wittstock; children, Carrie Belflowers, Willy (Jami) Graves, Perry Graves, Stefanie (Tim) Cody; grandchildren, Ali Flarity, Jiovanni Guerra, Gavin Graves, Ella Graves, Murphy Graves, Vincent Graves, Angelena Cody, Robert Cody, Carson Cody, Miles Cody, Mia Cody; siblings, Richard (Cherie) Wittstock, Marion (Roger) Gust, Susan (Steven) Rudd, Joanne (Bill) Neuman, Eileen Wittstock, John (Judy) Wittstock, Roger (Diane) Wittstock, Shirley (Jim) Schweitzer, Mark (Brenda Marlette) Wittstock, Paul (Melissa) Wittstock; and countless nieces and nephews.  A public visitation was held on Monday, August 10, 2020 from 1-3 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave) in New Richmond.  A family memorial service took place at 3:30 pm.  Following the service interment was in Calvary Cemetery in Deer Park.  Ed’s service is available via a link at the bottom of the this page.
