Edna Thomas died of natural causes April 8, 2020 in New Richmond, Wisconsin. She was 102 years old. Edna was born in Pepin, Wisconsin to parents, William and Anna Moline. She graduated from River Falls State College in 1939 with a degree in English and teaching. She is predeceased by her first husband, Ed Dahl and late in life husband, Melvin Thomas. They lived in Wisconsin and New Mexico.
Edna was accomplished in her many pursuits, including gardening, flower arranging, and china painting. She enjoyed shopping and games, such as scrabble and bridge. Edna is survived by 2 daughters, Barbara Dahl and Beverly Petersen, grandchildren, Leah Baillargeon, Luke Petersen, Logan Wettig, and Lars Petersen, and 9 great grand-children.
A celebration of Edna’s life will be held at a later date at the Deerfield Chapel in New Richmond. Cremation services provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

Barb and Beverly I am sorry for the loss of your mom. I took care of Edna for the last 5 years at the Deerfield. She was very special to me and the rest of the staff.We just adored her and will miss her very much.
