Dwayne M. Krohn age 67 of New Richmond died suddenly at his home on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. He was born the son of Milan “Mike” and Delores (Weber) Krohn on May 30, 1949 in St. Paul, MN. Dwayne graduated from Somerset High School. Following graduation, he joined the U.S. Army and served from 1968-1971. He was employed at Andersen Windows for 35 years. Dwayne enjoyed car racing at Cedar Lake Speedway, playing euchre and poker, family gatherings and holiday meals. He is survived by his siblings, Michael (Liz) Krohn, Pamela Salisbury, Tom Krohn, Tim Krohn, Gregg (Carla) Krohn, Chris (Lisa) Krohn, Patty (Tim) Delaney; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and friends. Dwayne is preceded in death by his parents, Milan “Mike” and Delores Krohn; and brother, Steven Krohn. A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11 am at Bakken-Young Beebe Chapel (112 W 3rd St.) in New Richmond. Visitation was on Friday, August 26th from 4-8 pm at Bakken-Young and also on Saturday from 10-11 am. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery in Somerset. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
