Donna Strohbeen 10/22/2011

Donna J. Strohbeen age 77 of Somerset passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Deerfield Gables in New Richmond.  She was born the daughter of Philip and Adeline (Kiekhoefer) Strohbeen on March 17, 1934 in Star Prairie Township.  Donna worked at the St. Paul Companies and lived in Somerset for many years.  She was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church.  Donna was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Wayne Peterson.  She will remain in the hearts of her sisters, Joyce Peterson of Amery, Colleen (Fran) Rivard of New Richmond, Jackie (Bob) Steffen of Deer Park, Linda (Keith) Kruizenga of Star Prairie; and many nieces and nephews.  A memorial service was held Sunday, October 30, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Christ Lutheran Church in Somerset with Pastor Kathy Tulman, officiating.  Memorial visitation was also Sunday from 1-2 pm at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Christ Lutheran Church.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
