Donna Arne 10/11/2020

Donna Jean Arne, age 86, of River Falls passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at her home.  She grew up in Beldenville, WI and graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1952.  Donna worked at St. Paul Fire & Marine for many years, where she met her future husband, Don, through a friend.  After dating and marrying, the couple both took jobs at UW-River Falls.  Donna worked there for 35 years, during this time she suffered the sudden loss of her beloved Don.  She retired in 1997 and in retirement, she enjoyed numerous places of travel and connections with many friends. Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Don; parents, Melvin and Olga Phernetton; her in-laws, Earl and Martha Arne.  She is survived by her two children, Steven Arne and Cheryl Arne. No formal services will be held.  Donna’s family would be honored if you remember her as a kind, loving and endearing soul.  And memories of Donna’s smile, laugh and wonderful sense of humor be with you all.
