Donald G. Warrick, Sr. 06/12/2025

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Donald “Don” Gerald Warrick, Sr., who left us on June 12, 2025, at the age of 74. Don was born on Christmas Day in 1950 in Minneapolis, MN to Robert and Helen (McKinzie) Warrick. He was the second youngest of seven siblings and had a life filled with laughter, love, and plenty of adventures.

Don’s journey included two marriages, first to Kathleen Barry, with whom he had two children, and later to JoAnn Waterhouse, who brought three step-sons into his life. After JoAnn’s passing in 2004, Don moved to North Hudson, WI, to be closer to his family, where he continued to create fond memories.

If you knew Don, you knew about his love for playing pool, golf, Monday night wrestling and the occasional trip to the casino. He often reminisced about his younger days spent playing softball and cards with his siblings. Those boat and car rides with his son, Donald Jr., were some of his favorite moments.

Don is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bob and Dale, sisters Janice, Virginia, and Viola, his second wife JoAnn, and granddaughter Jeni Bond. He is survived by his son, Donald (Melissa) Warrick Jr.; his daughter, Jennifer Lukas; and grandchildren, Brandon, Mitch, Alyssa, Lindsay, Casey and Erika, great grandsons Ryder and Declan and great granddaughters, Maesa and Alexandria who adored him. He also leaves behind step-sons Bill, Robbie, and Curtis Waterhouse. He will remain in his heart of his brother Ronnie, his wife Diane, sister in-law Dorothy Warrick and sister in-law Glenna Warrick.

A celebration of Don’s life took place on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 4-7 PM at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services located at 805 E Division St. in River Falls. Memorials in Don’s honor are preferred.
