Diane Dahl 12/27/2020

Diane Dahl, age 71, of New Richmond passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Diane was born November 15^th, 1949 and was the third child of six. She worked as a telephone operator when she met Jim. They married in 1973 and welcomed their first daughter, Jennifer in 1974. She went on to work at Lakeside Foods and welcomed another daughter Crystal in 1981. She continued to work at Lakeside for over 30 years, retiring in 2012. Diane enjoyed dancing, music, trips to the casino, shopping, having barbeques with her family and traveling when she had the opportunity. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her 5 grandchildren who brightened her days. Her feisty, stubborn and fun-loving spirit will be missed forever by those who knew her. She was preceded in death her husband of 46 years Jim; parents, Glenn and Shirley Jorgenson; sister Julie Kahler; and brother Edward (Kate) Jorgenson. Diane is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Chris) Crowley and Crystal (Tom) Goepfert; siblings Robert (Karen) Jorgenson, James Jorgenson, and Linda (Dennis) Viellieux. Her grandchildren, Kaelyn and Greyson Crowley and Parker, Reed and Liam Goepfert as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 11:00 am at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave) in New Richmond.  Visitation was also Thursday from 10-11 am at Bakken-Young.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
