Diana R. Wood, age 81 of New Richmond, died on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Private family services will be held. Cremation provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of New Richmond.

Diane was my neighbor and friend. She was originally from England and still had a little accent in her voice. I am not sure what “Bugger about” meant, but I heard it often. Di and Vern had no children and she was blessed to have a nephew Paul who was always here when she needed him. I think I remember Di best for her love of animals..large or small. I believe she would appreciate any donations to a local animal shelter or humane society in her memory. She was a special lady and will be dearly missed.
