Denny Bakken, age 83, of Madison Lake, MN died Thursday, July 1, 2021 at his home.  He is survived by his wife, Evie Bakken; daughter, Jodie (Brian) Bakken-Young; siblings, John (Sharon) Bakken, Judeen (Frank) Erickson, Marleen (Jim) Johnson, Ron (Roberta) Bakken; nieces, nephews and friends.  Preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Marjorie Bakken.  A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 11:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church (412 N Main St.) in Janesville, MN.  Visitation was held Monday, July 5, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church and also on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 am.  Interment was in Smiths Mill Cemetery in Smiths Mill, MN.  With great love his funeral arrangements are being handled by his only daughter and son-in-law with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services, just the way he wanted it.
